ORIGINAL POST
"Hi guys!

I did this interior for the portfolio of a freelance-made studio in wich I am working now.
I wanted to create a corner of an room from the mid 70s, trying to achieve a different visual style instead of the common iper-clean interior.
I took inspiration listening to the music I love most, and trying to "transform emotions in poligons".
Everything was modelled, textured and rendered by me.
Original resolution is 1920x1920. Postproduction was done by me and Mattia Balsamini.

Our studio is named MeLa.factory, we are located in Venice (Italy).

Hope you'll like the images!
ORIGINAL POST
" Hi guys!
It's about 4months I've start putting a big efforth into macro photography, since I bought a great Sigma lens for this purpose.

Every day I do macro shots I realize - as I supposed before starting - how crazy details the things around us got, so many that we cannot realize.

Doing macro is like discover a lot fo new universes, without becoming a NASA dude : )
For "celebrating" this my new era of little and big discovers, I decided to reproduce a macro shot with my 3d instrument.

I choose to realize a nature macro shot, for wich I've used a good number of butterfly references (the beautiful exemplary I focused on is a Melitaea didyma), focusing the work (about two weeks in total) on modeling, texturing, frame composition and colours.

..What happen when a Melitaea meets a ladybug?

Hope you will like it!
And thanks for watching "

What I am showing you here are some renders I have recently finished for the final steps of a universitary product design lab.

The goal of this lab was to design a commercial chair, and what you see here - "Noa" - is the final model we obtained in 3months of case study.
Design by me, Cesare Bizzotto and Federico Floriani.
All renders/models done by me (except for Bugatti Vita juicer by Lorenzo Ruggeri). Original resolutions were at 300dpi.

Puppet Master "Way of escape"

Puppet Master was living in the darkness of the World's oldest mountain since hundreds and hundreds of years.
When he was a baby, his father gave to him a little woody puppet, whose became soon his favourite playmate.
But an unfortunate day - some years after his father's death - the baby slipped on the rocks in a cave while he was playing with the puppet and his pet (a mouse-like little animal). His toy fell down off a deep precipice, and he wasn't more able to find it.

Taken by an insane despair, he started carving hundreds of puppets, trying to perfectly match the First One.
But it was impossible.
He went on for decades, days and nights, until madness had taken roots into his head.
Then he brought Life into the puppets, and started torturing them one per one as a ritual.
He went totally insane.

The puppets were small and powerless alone, but they were hundreds.
A night they resolved to find a way of escape from the Master's madness, with the promise to join them together in a safe place on the top of the mountain..
Where they all would have planned the Revenge in the name of all those was massacred.

I am sorry for the long background story ^^
This piece went into my mind a couple of years ago. I decided to draw it as a concept, and then to bring it to life with 3d, during the sparetime.
I adopted a semi-cartoon style, detailing more some things and less others.
As always, Max for modelling, Maxwell for rendering and PS for postprod.
ORIGINAL POST
" Hi guys!
Last year I modeled an Helghast from Killzone2 for making an artwork on it (love the character), but the final result wasn't convincing because of (I suppose) the too much elaborated background (done in mattepainting) wich created a bit of general confusion.

So I decided to revisite it and give to you in a new "suit".
